I love the way that they are human figures with animal heads. It connects with my project idea and links back to anthropomorphic taxidermy, i love the vintage - old world feel to them. i have some vintage photographs and could possibly have a go at this technique.
My own version of Lowerys work includes a pigeon on a vintage photo lying around the house. I think its quite scary and intimidating! I made mine just by printing off a photo i had from a pigeon and changing the colour to black and white on photoshop and layering it over the top by hand and scanning in... it is just a sample to mimic her style.
