Last week we met Phil & Ben who created 'Juneau Projects' A pair that create art individually and together.
There work revolves around technology and more recently focus' on animals. Yesterday - the 26th Feb - I had an Individual tutorial with Phil about my City Puppet project. He made the following suggestions
- the outcome could be sculptural
- the outcome could be a photograph - this would help animate the puppet
- the outcome could be display
I really want to look into the photography outcome - this is because even though you find taxidermy behind glass and on display - you dont find alive animals in a glass box so to speak. In addition the whole idea for these puppets is to animate them so i would like to put them into context in the city centre and have a series of photographs that maybe animate flight?
