I have never made a cast before, but I had made plaster before. I really enjoyed the Workshop and it was a great skill to learn for future reference.
The objective was to make a cast of a fruit, I made a mould of an Apple and then filled the mould with Pink Wax.
The outcome was very successful and it didn't break! I can use my mould again. There are different ways in which we could apply the technique to our work in the future.
We learnt different processes and the names of the techniques and what the equipment was used as well.
